Appointment of Headteacher
Last week, the school welcomed candidates for the position of Headteacher of Framwellgate School Durham. After a rigorous and testing process, the Trust Board appointed Alisdair Nicholas with effect from Monday 22nd April. Mr. Nicholas joined the school as Deputy Headteacher in 2005 and has been Acting Headteacher since the untimely passing of Joan Sjøvoll.
Mr. Nicholas said that he is ‘delighted to accept the opportunity to lead Framwellgate School Durham and will seek to build on its considerable successes.’

- 65% at A*-B grades
- 42% at A*/ A grades
- 25% of students gained three or more grades at A*/A
