The Trustees of the Excel Academy Partnership appointed Mr Andrew Byers as the new Head teacher of Framwellgate School Durham. He will take up his new post on 1st September 2017. Trustees were delighted with the appointment of a very experienced senior leader. Mr Byers is currently the Head of School at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham, Northumberland. Barnardo’s Fostering & Adoption North East need to recruit more foster carers for children (over the age of 7) in the North East as part of their recently launched ‘Supporting Positive Outcomes Initiative’.
