The new email system will use Microsoft’s Office 365 platform as previously communicated and the migration will be taking place on Sunday 6th August. From Monday 7th August staff will be able to use their new email addresses which will be in the format firstname.lastname@example.org e.g. bloggs.j (where there is a duplicate the second letter from the first name will be used and staff affected will be notified directly.) From Sunday all emails sent to your old and new email addresses will be delivered to the new system. Historic emails will be migrated across in the days following.
Access to email can be gained here: www.outlook.com/framdurham.com using your new email address and your current network password. The VLE link will also be modified to point to the new address in due course.
